Promiseland Program Highlights

Celebration Sunday:  The last Sunday of each month, we will honor all children who have a birthday that month.  Preschool kids will get birthday stars and elementary kids will pick a prize out of the birthday box.

Stewardship Project:  We will be collecting money for City Ministries again this year.  This organization brings God’s word and love to homeless and poor people in the San Francisco area.  Every Sunday we will have our collection jars on the registration tables for kids to place their offering.

Weekly Bible verses:  Every week, kids will bring home bible verses that tie in to the Bible lesson.  Kids are encouraged to memorize and understand the bible verse and come prepared the next week to share the bible verse with their Shepherd.  Once a month we will have a bible verse drawing for prizes.

Snack/breakfast time:  We will provide a light breakfast for the elementary kids during free activity time and a hearty snack for preschool kids during free activity time.

Small group time:  Kids will be divided into small groups (based on their grade) to have real life discussions with a consistent group of kids and leaders.  This is a great time for relationship building and spiritual growth!

Worship Time:  Kids will have the opportunity to engage in weekly worship time through music and prayer.  Band members will be providing the music several times during the month.

Invite a friend Sunday:  One Sunday a month we will have Invite a friend Sunday.  Kids will be introduced during large group time.

Service Sunday:  One Sunday a month we will do service projects for local organizations.  Projects will include making cards, art, or other projects.
