Discover Your Gifts: Finding your Fit in Ministry--What is your base ministry? How can God best use you?, Sunday, April 20th at noon & Sunday, May 18 at noon
At different times of our lives, God uses our gifts and abilities in different ways. Discover what your spiritual gifts are and how they can be used at this stage of your life. How do your interests and life experiences come into play? If you have been involved in one area of ministry for awhile, this may be the time to look at other areas. Explore scripture to better understand what God can do through you. Discuss ministry and mission involvement--affirm where you are or search for a new place where God may be calling you. Take a closer look at the six core values of Saint Matthew through the lens of our bas ministries. It is an opportunity to think through the mission and vision of our congregation.
Potluck Dinner Discussion Groups, Various dates and locations
Initially these will be one-time sessions to be held in various homes for the purpose of further exploring spiritual gifts, forging new ministry alliances, and creating new outreach ministries. These should be some fun and exciting evenings with great discussions. Sign-up if you are interested and a date and host home will be determined.
