| PROVIDE MEALS FOR WORKERS Many of you have expressed interest in providing meals for the workers we have on site during this construction period at Saint Matthew. Thank you! With the start of framing on site, we are ready to begin serving those meals. If possible, we would like to begin the week of 1/20. We will be doing two things: providing cookies, brownies, and other sweet treats on Mondays and providing lunches on Thursdays. The way it will work is this: 
 For cookies and sweet treats, individuals will simply sign up with me for a certain week. It will then be your responsibility to deliver them to the site some time between 9am and 3pm on Monday. For the lunches, there will be a coordinator for each month. It will be the Coordinator's responsibility to make sure we have the crews lined up for each of the weeks and to be sure the Crew Leader for each week is clear on set up, serving and clean up duties. I'll be communicating with each Coordinator on numbers for the week and any other pertinent information. I'll work with the Coordinators to develop straightforward procedures and expectations for set up, serving and clean up. The Crew Leader will organize their lunch team and communicate with their team to develop the menu, decide who's bringing what and make sure all of the set up and clean up happens. The goal would be to have most of the team able to stay in order to help with set up and clean up, and most importantly, sit and talk with the workers we are serving. This might be a great servant project for your small group if you participate in one. So, to start, I am looking for volunteers in three areas: 1. Volunteers to sign up for a specific week to bring cookies, brownies or the like on a Monday. Please specify which week. 2. Volunteers to take up the Coordinator role. Please let me know what month you would like (January through May). 3. Volunteers to be Crew Leaders. Please let me know in general what dates are good for you. If you are interested in volunteering in one of these three areas, please e-mail your name and the specifics of when you would like to serve. I'll then get in touch with you to set up the next step. Once I have these three areas covered, we'll begin to recruit teams for the specific weeks as needed. Thanks again for your willingness to be a part of the Ministry of Construction.
